DO NOT sleep or cook in your car. This is extremely dangerous and people have been known to suffocate from the fumes whilst asleep in a vehicle not intended for such use.

You can keep Food and Drinks in your tent or vehicle but, bringing your own alcohol, food, glass bottles or cans into the Main Arena is NOT permitted and security will be extremely vigilant. SEATING
Please feel free to bring your own chairs and picnic rugs.

SECURITY & TOILETS
Toilets and security ensure comfort and peace of mind at Ox-Fest, making sure that the day is enjoyed both the young and more senior visitors.

VEHICLES
All vehicles must be removed from the festival site by 12pm on Monday 15th July 2013.

CAMPING

A warm welcome to Rick Bailey from Whitehorse Tipis.

Rick will be running our campsite at Ox-Fest and taking bookings.

Camping is available all weekend (Frid/Sat/Sun) and you can Hire a Tipi or Bell Tent or bring your own tent.

DIRECTIONS & LOCATION

Ox-Fest is located at Carswell Golf & Country Club, Carswell,
SN7 8PU on the A420 between Oxford and Swindon.

Just get onto the A420 and follow towards Littleworth and Buckland. We plan to have bright yellow signs erected on most major routes in the area, directing you to the festival site.

If you are Dropping Off friends or family please be aware that if you enter the festival car park during a busy period it may take some time to depart, as we need to give priority to traffic arriving from the busy main road.

The all-important bars and food stands that are essential for keeping you fed and watered in true festival style and Ox-Fest boasts a wide variety of food and drink from local, quality suppliers including;

the Award Winning Thai/Indian Restaurant The Snooty Mehmaan and

the Award Winning Real Ale Pub The Shoulder of Mutton

Hacketts Coffee Bar will be running the Ox-Fest Cafe in the Main Arena.

SHUSH The Venue, will be running the Main Bar, which has views of the Main Stage and arena

We are also really excited to welcome Ven from Katalystic Events who will be running his very cool and funky Giant Tipi Bar at Ox-Fest and hosting the Acoustic Stage and Music and Dance Workshops.

IMPORTANT - Adult tickets are for persons aged 18+ but tickets or wrist bands will NOT be seen as proof of age.

HEALTH & SAFETY

CRECHE
There is a charge of £5 per child per hour for this service Please use this facility responsibly. The staff from The Old Station Nursery will look after children at their own discretion and reserve the right to withdraw or suspend this service for safety reasons or if capacity is exceeded.

DISABLED ACCESS
Please ask the stewards at the gates to be directed to our disabled parking area, viewing area and toilets. For further information about facilities please feel free to Contact Us.

DOGS & PETS
Pets or animals of any description are not allowed anywhere within the festival site, with the exception of Guide Dogs.

FIRES
Fires, naked flames including barbecues, candles, flares and lanterns are NOT permitted anywhere at Ox-Fest

GAZEBOS
Gazebos and tents are NOT permitted at Ox-Fest (except at the Campsite), as these may obstruct views of the stage or cause injury. All our main bars and venues are covered and offer shelter from the elements.

LOST CHILDREN
Lost children should go to (or be directed to) the nearest member of Staff, a Steward or Security person.

PARKING

There is FREE PARKING on-site for up to 1500 cars and small vans, located right next to the main festival site and arena.

We love the fact that Ox-Fest is located on Route 66, the main service from Oxford to Swindon, stopping at Shrivenham and Faringdon and right next to the main entrance to Ox-Fest at Carswell Golf & Country Club.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Conditions of sale:

Tickets cannot be exchanged nor can money be refunded.
Each member of the audience must possess and retain a valid ticket to gain admission.
Ticket holders consent to audio/visual recording of the audience for publicity purposes.
Audio/visual recording is not permitted by members of the audience.

The Promoter reserves the right to:

Refuse entry to, or eject the ticket holder from, the event.
Confiscate and/or dispose of any glass, tins, food, alcohol, prohibited or dangerous items and immediately notify the relevant authorities of any criminal offence, unsociable behaviour or conduct likely to cause harm, offense or a breach of the peace.
Change the venue and date of the event, should the venue become unavailable due to dangerous conditions, severe weather or other circumstances beyond their control.
Change the running order and general timings or make any changes to the programme due to unforseen or unavoidable circumstances.
Change or replace any scheduled or advertised artists, attractions, concessions, events, facilities, performances or traders without notice.
Cancel or abandon the event for any reason beyond their control without notice and without liability to pay any person compensation or damages whatsoever, other than a ticket refund at the promoter's discretion.


TRADING AT OX-FEST

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW INVITED FROM MARKET TRADERS AND CONCESSIONS WISHING TO TRADE AT OX-FEST 2013.

TRADER INFORMATION

We at Ox-Fest want to assist and promote local traders and businesses so there are no hidden charges and Traders will NOT have to share a % of their income from sales.

Trading Rates are Fixed Fees, payable in advance

FULL PAYMENT REQUIRED BY 31st MAY 2013

Trading Rates are based on weekend trading (Frid/Sat/Sun) NOT Day Rates.

Market Stalls - ONLY £100 for 3 days (+ £50 deposit against damage/litter)

Food & Drink Concessions + Attractions
PLEASE APPLY FOR RATES

ALL Traders can sell bottled water & soft drinks

ALL drinks MUST be in paper or plastic cups (NO GLASS) - but these can be branded by Trader

Power and lighting can be supplied at an additional charge.

With the exception of Market Stalls and Amusements, we propose Trading Areas of 3m x 6m maximum.

If your own van or marquee occupies less space than this you can use the extra area to create an enclosed garden area with tables, seating, etc......at your own cost.

ALL bars, fridges, flooring, furniture, lighting, branding, insurance, staffing and security costs to be met by each Trader.

We are currently negotiating bulk hire prices for the above items to try and offer Traders the best possible rate.
